Climate model

Climate models use quantitative methods to simulate the interactions of the atmosphere, oceans, land surface, and ice.
Earth & Climate
They are used for a variety of purposes from study of the dynamics of the weather and climate system to projections of future climate. The most talked-about models of recent years have been those relating air temperature to emissions of carbon dioxide.
These models predict an upward trend in the surface temperature record, as well as a more rapid increase in temperature at higher altitudes.

Consensus of scientists regarding global warming — The IPCC Third Assessment Report is a product of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which is based in Geneva Switzerland,
Numerical weather prediction — Numerical weather prediction is the science of predicting the weather using "models" of the atmosphere and computational techniques.
Global climate model — General Circulation Models (GCMs) are a class of computer-driven models for weather forecasting, understanding climate and projecting climate change,
Planetary boundary layer — The planetary boundary layer (PBL) is also known as the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL). It is the lowest part of the atmosphere
